At All Saints, it is our joy and privilege to care for the covenant children God has entrusted to us and to point them to Jesus. Our Children’s Ministry is here to partner with parents and serve children, beginning in the nursery and continuing up to 5th grade.

Our aim is to assist parents in laying a strong foundation of biblical teaching for the children of All Saints so they are equipped as disciples of Christ to personally engage in the church, in the Word, and in the world for the glory of God.

We are so grateful for the chance to come alongside you and your family in this way and grow together!

Corporate Worship

We welcome children of all ages into our time of corporate worship, and especially encourage parents of preschoolers and kindergarteners to begin including their children in the service. We recognize both the blessing and the challenge of training children to engage in public worship. Our desire is to encourage and support parents of young children in this process.

Each week, we provide a Family Worship Guide based on the Sunday sermon text. Our pastors regularly address themselves to our children during their sermons. Our Sunday evening worship also includes a children’s lesson, where children of all ages are invited to come forward and sit in front of the Communion Table to hear from the pastor.

You can click here to listen to "Nursery of Faith" a four-episode podcast series where our pastors and staff talk about including children in worship. There we discuss why we do it, why it matters, and ideas for doing it well. We hope and pray that as your children join us, they will experience the welcome of Christ and be blessed by the time of worship and hearing from God’s Word.

Nursery (Service & Sunday School)

Our nursery is open during the Sunday morning worship service as well as the Sunday School hour to help parents of infants and toddlers engage more fully in prayer, singing, hearing the Word, and communion. The nursery will open at 8:50 am for check-in and drop off.

A rotation of teachers will lead the children in the nursery through a time of singing, a Bible story and age-appropriate activities during the service. The Sunday School hour will also include a time for music and for learning the children's catechism (using music for memorization).

Elementary Sunday School (10:30am - 11:20am)

Doors will open for Sunday School at 10:25 am.

* Please note: elementary children are not permitted to enter the Children’s Ministry Hallway or elementary classrooms until two volunteers are present and have opened the doors.

All elementary classes begin together in one large group for music and to hear a pastoral homily (drawing from that morning’s sermon text).

The children split into separate classes at 10:50 am.

Pre-K - 2nd grade: Using The Biggest Story Curriculum, teachers will tell a Bible story, teach a lesson and lead the children in activities to reinforce the lesson. This curriculum will walk through the overarching narrative of the Bible and show how every story points to Christ.

*These lessons coordinate with Kevin DeYoung’s The Biggest Story Storybook Bible and other resources available to be used at home. However, parents need to be aware that this Storybook Bible does include images portraying Jesus. These images will not be used in Sunday School and we will leave it up to parents as to whether they feel comfortable using these additional resources at home.

3rd - 5th grade: Using the Investigating God’s Word curriculum, children are taught how to read and understand different books of the Bible. The class is currently walking through the books of the Pentateuch (Genesis-Deuteronomy).
